Important privacy information
Vodafone Locate is designed to use and share your location. It has been built to give you the maximum amount of control over who you share your location and other information with,
and so you should regularly review your privacy settings and control your information there.
Your company may have policies about how this service is used to track your own and others' locations, so you should make sure you understand those policies when you use Vodafone Locate to control your own settings,
and especially when you use Vodafone Locate as an administrator for other employees.
What information do we have about you?
When you use this product, Vodafone has access to the following information:
- Information you give us when you register, like your name and work or home address.
- Information you create when you use the service, like links between you and other users that you have created or approved, your personal or business favourites or points of interest and the ratings you give them, and your meetings, business hours and messages sent using via Vodafone Locate.
- Information about your use of the service, like your location and routes, the controls you set, and the ways you use the Vodafone Locate web tools.
What does Vodafone do with your information
What does Vodafone do with your information? So that you can use Vodafone Locate and so that we can provide the service and bill our customers, we store your information securely in our data centres,
which may be located in your country or in Germany as required by your local regulations. We may also use very limited information, anonymised and generally in the aggregate, to understand more about how the service is used to repair and improve the service.
Vodafone will not use your information for its own location purposes, or market to you based on the information we have about you.
